Beginning to mid Edo Armor. This is a typical retainer armor. Worn by a real Sumurai.
The The dō, or cuirass is a yokohagi ni-mai dō gusoku (“horizontally-rivetted clamshell cuirass armour”) . The dō is made of leather
The gold painted Mon is the Mon from the Yuuki Clan.
The helmet or Kabuto is a 3 plate metal helmet. This one has horizontal lames.
It has traces of (battle) usage, but overall in good condition considering the age of the armor.
It comes with a Wooden box and stand. Hight is 145-150 cm. Weight is approx. 14 Kg
